Terms of Service

Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Last updated: October 7, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Blakcat apps and service ("Blakcat"). By creating an account or using Blakcat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Blakcat provides an encrypted network connection that protects and optimizes your traffic on untrusted networks. Features, servers, and availability may change over time as we improve the service.

Your account

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Blakcat to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

Subscriptions & payments

Where paid plans are offered, they are billed through the applicable platform's billing system or our payment provider, and are subject to that provider's terms. The iOS version of Blakcat does not offer in-app purchases or third-party payment.

Renewing the plan you already have adds to the time you have left. If you buy a different paid plan while your current one is still active, the time remaining on it is converted and placed ahead of the time you buy: remaining Plus time counts at half its length toward Premium, and remaining Premium time at twice its length toward Plus.

Dedicated Servers

Premium includes the option of a Dedicated Server: a server and exit IP address used by your account alone.

Privacy

Your use of Blakcat is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Blakcat is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
